Cannabis Drinks Expo to Hit Chicago and San Francisco

Events that highlight the rapid growth of cannabis beverages are now possible. According to a June 20 press release, the Beverage Trade Network’s 2022 Cannabis Drinks Expo is scheduled for next month. The Expo will focus on legal cannabis and give insight into business potential.

Expo themes include increasing the overall category list by showcasing successful exhibitors, creating networking opportunities, and exploring current “multi-state bottlenecks.”

Then why the buzz? According to market forecasts, the global cannabis drinks market will grow to $553.58 million in 2020 and to $2958.60million by 2028. That’s a 24-.5% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) during 2021-2028. These include both psychoactive and hemp-infused beverages. With a focus on wellness beverages with natural ingredients, cannabis is not the only sector undergoing radical changes.

Multistate companies will be able to benefit from synergistic business opportunities by attending the show, which has both an international and national emphasis.

Cannabis Drinks Expo is a platform that provides cannabis drink industry professionals with an opportunity to grow their business, discover the category and find amazing brands. The theme for the 2022 show is “Growing the Category.”

In a highly competitive market, drink makers can benefit from increased visibility. At the expo, you’re likely to find the full spectrum of brands.

“The Cannabis Drinks Expo offers brands like mine a view into a very early stage waltz,” famed Master-Mixologist Warren Bobrow told Chronic News. Bobrow is also known as “the Cocktail Whisperer,” who is behind the made-to-drink cannabis-infused beverage Klaus. “Two steps forward. Two steps forward, one back. Two forward one back, and networking with those you can’t meet on [LinkedIn] nor Instagram.”

Bobrow, unlike other brands of cannabis drinks that are focused on sweetness ingredients is more concerned about the ingredients in Klaus’ terpene-forward beverage. His drinks list ingredients such as Picketts™ ginger syrup and fine fruit extracts sourced from France. It’s also designed to kick in fast, making it a viable alternative to other recreational delivery systems.

Local media outlets also covered the expo. “From hemp-based sports drinks to cocktails that get you high, science has finally cracked the code to making cannabis beverages that don’t taste awful,” reported Jonathan Bloom for NBC Bay Area News.

Part of this program was created to help people understand the complex world of cannabis drinks. Experts will explain and clarify the process of infusing foods, while panels from the industry will provide facts that will help to simplify the procedure for making cannabis-infused drinks. The full-day will feature presentations by some of the most prominent names in cannabis, but they have yet to be announced. The expo floor will be open for attendees to browse and meet companies at the forefront of cannabis technology.

Exhibitors will include medical cannabis producers, growers, cannabis producers, product developers, processors, distributors/transporters, wineries, breweries, distilleries, branded drinks companies, drinks manufacturers, Pharma companies, equipment and service providers, CBD manufacturers, edibles providers, testing and laboratory services, logistics, and supply chain operators, drinks distributors/wholesalers, drinks importers, lobbyists/public affairs businesses, and political advisors.

The expo will be held in both California and Illinois, with two events. For details on individual events, see below.
