Presented by Hemp Hop, The Chronic News Hemp Cup: People’s Choice Edition unites competitors and judges from all areas of the hemp space. Chronic News will accept entries beginning in January. On April 3rd, 2022, the official Digital Awards Show concludes the celebrations.

The Chronic News Hemp Cup: People’s Choice Edition aims to identify and award the best hemp-derived CBD products across the nation. That’s why we provide a wide range of different categories, covering everything from topicals to pet products.

The 2018 Farm Bill changed almost everything. The 2018 Farm Bill changed the landscape of hemp processors, extractors, and farmers. It also opened the door to public hemp competitions.

This event will be the only the second time this competition is open to the nationwide public, and we will see the largest pool of judges in the cup’s history. This is a sampling dream to get your products into the hands of hundreds of new customers—complete with feedback on your entries and thousands of impressions. All the best!

Long Beach, California can receive submissions from competitors for product during the January 17-21, 2020 period. Guess what? On January 29, 2022, Judge Kits can be ordered online across the country. This judging window will run from January 29, 2022 to March 20, 2022.

On Sunday, April 3rd, 2022, the Digital Awards Show will be held. Here we’ll showcase some of our most luxurious hemp products. With this in mind, stay hydrated, stash some munchies, find a designated driver or do whatever other steps you need to ensure it’s a safe competition.

Keep in mind—this is strictly a hemp-derived CBD competition only. Each product must be registered with the State of Origin and have evidence of laboratory results that the product is hemp-derived. Remember that products containing delta-8 THC will be evaluated separately from other categories.

Our Silver Sponsor Orange County CBD and our Bronze Sponsor Sweet Sensi deserve a mention. We couldn’t bring these amazing events to the public without their support.
